Wild Bill Taylor Obituary

“Wild Bill” Taylor

Everyone seemed to know Wild Bill. He was a motorcycle legend in Danville as well as a mechanic. He  would hang out in Chappys’ in Danville and never knew a stranger.  He  rode his motorcycle everywhere and would attend many community events with friends. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Assoc. and a member of Vermilion Heights Christian church.

He loved spending time with his children and would visit grandchildren and play with them often. Energetic and full of life well into his 70’s he would look for every opportunity to crack a joke. He will be greatly missed by his family and his boots will never be filled.

He had 3 children: Mike Taylor married to Nina Taylor, Margie Allee married to Brad Allee, and Billy Taylor, deceased; 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandkids; and 3 great-great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-six years Margaret, as well as his parents John and Mary Taylor.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday September 10th at Vermilion Heights Christian Church in Danville, 725 Oakwood Ave from 10-11am, with a Memorial Service starting at 11am. Memorial donations may be made to Vermilion Heights Christian Church in Danville.
