William “Bill” Pedrazoli, 90, of Danville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24th, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 444 E. Main St., Danville, with Father Loftus officiating. A private burial will follow.
William was born in Chicago, IL, on Jan. 3rd, 1935, to Joseph and Angelina (Panozzo) Pedrazoli. He attended school in Rudolf, WI, where he graduated high school in 1955. After graduating, William enlisted in the United States Air Force. He attended basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tx. After completing basic training, he was stationed at Furstenfeld Air Force Base in Germany, where he met the love of his life Hedwig Rief. They moved to the U.S. as newlyweds on Jan. 24th, 1960, where they arrived in New York City, and later moved to Rudolf, WI. They eventually settled on Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.
In 1971, they moved to Kokomo, IN, and he began his career with Smith-Allsop Paint. In 1972, the family moved to Danville, where he became the manager of Danville Paint & Wallpaper. Upon the merger of the paint company, a new location was built in Danville named MAB Paints. He was the store manager until its closing in 2007, when he went to work for Lowe's Home Improvement in the paint department as an interior paint specialist until his retirement in 2012, where he became his wife's caregiver until her passing in 2017.
William was a man with a heart of gold who loved his family dearly and would do anything for anyone. He attended Holy Family Catholic Church, where he was a member for over 30 years, and the Noon Kawanis Club for many years, where he served as Vice President and later President. He could always be found at their infamous pancake day, which he looked forward to every year. In his early years, he enjoyed bowling. William enjoyed playing slots on his phone, and was an avid fan of and loved his Green Bay Packers!! GO PACK GO!!
William married his beloved wife Hedi in 1958, and the two were inseparable; you wouldn’t often find one without the other. They enjoyed sharing numerous trips to Germany, Wisconsin, and all over the United States.
William leaves behind his four children, Monika Pedrazoli-Hickman, Angelina Pedrazoli, Donna (Brad) Barth, and Kevin Pedrazoli (Cassie Rodgers); six grandchildren, Heidi Pedrazoli (Ron Sieloff), Danielle (Ryan) Rouse, Ashley (Brad) Lankster, Allen Pedrazoli, Samantha Pedrazoli, and Drew (Jessica) Barth; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler Pedrazoli (Faith Hogan), Olivia Hickman (Andrew Plecenik), Emily Hickman, Mackenzie Rouse, Abigail Smith, Chance Pedrazoli, Kinsey Bell and Grayson Lankster; and five great-great-grandchildren. Weston Pedrazoli, Keaton Pedrazoli, Mason Pedrazoli, Steven Pedrazoli, and Scarlett Pedrazoli. He will also be greatly missed by his brother, Joseph Pedrazoli, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Hedi, his parents, A brother, Albert Pedrazoli, four sisters, Claira Grippando, Lucy Schultz, Blanche Perez, and Katherine Gaetke, and his grandson, Steven Pedrazoli.
