Beverly Kramp Obituary

Beverly Kramp, 91 of Danville, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Goldwater Care in Danville. A rosary will be at 11am at Holy Family Church, 444 E Main Street on Tuesday, March 12th with visitation following from 11:30-12:30pm. Mass will follow at 12:30pm with Father Steven Loftus officiating. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.

Beverly was born in Westville to Henry and Leavella (Roberts) Wiesmann. She attended St. Mary’s Grade School and Schlarman High School, where she graduated in 1951 as part of the third graduating class. Beverly married Arthur J. Kramp on September 27, 1952, and the two were blessed to share seventy years together before his passing in 2023. Throughout the years Beverly worked at William Davies Packing Company and was a Teacher’s Aide at St. Patrick’s Grade School while her children were in school. She later worked beside her husband as co-owner of Kramp Construction Co. until they retired.

Beverly loved raising her children, making their house a home, and was dedicated to her family. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Church where she was baptized, confirmed, and later married. After Arthur’s discharge from the Navy, Beverly and Arthur settled in Danville and became members of St. Patrick’s (now Holy Family). She faithfully attended mass as long as her health allowed, as well as sang in the church choir and assisted with church functions. Beverly enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, and singing in the Vermilion Chorus. Her and Arthur traveled extensively when they were able. Beverly tutored in reading, worked in the library, was a Cub Scout Den leader, assisted with Meals on Wheels, volunteered at the St. Elizabeth Hospital Gift Shop, and was a member of the American Legion, AMC Club, Elks Lodge, K of C, and Phi Theta Kappa at DACC.

Beverly leaves behind her son: Raymond Kramp; two grandchildren: Matthew (Nicole) Kramp and Meghan (Brian) Hardesty; her great grandchildren: Jackson, Scarlet, Maximilian, and Madeleine; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, a son James Kramp, her brothers: Edward (Helen) Wiesemann, Buford (Alberta) Wiesemann, Frederick Wiesemann, and Lloyd (Ann) Wiesemann.
