Jacqueline "Jackie" (Roberts) Ryan

   Heaven opened its’ pearly gates to welcome Jacqueline “Jackie” Ryan on Monday, January 25, 2021. Jackie entered this world on August 26, 1934 in Danville, Illinois;  born to George and Susie (Herb) Roberts. On July 7, 1952 she wed Jack Ryan. From this union were born a daughter Lana Jo and son Timothy. They enjoyed forty-seven years together until his death in November of 1999.

   Preceeding Jackie in death was her husband, her parents, and her brother Bill. Surviving her are a daughter Lana (Ken) Kesinger and a son Tim (Paula) Ryan, all of Danville; a sister Sandy (Stewart) Hutchison of Carmel, IN; her grandchildren Ryan Hawkins and Rachel (Jason) Vernia; great grandchildren Macie Hawkins, Lohgan Hawkins, Gracelynn Vernia, and Reilly Greene; and her best friend Bill Rowley.

   Jackie devoted her life to her family and home. She loved walking in the newly fallen snow, and she loved her four-legged fur babies Bavon, Mikey and Annie.

   Private family visitation and services will be held on Friday,  January 29, 2021 at Kruger Coan Pape Funeral Home in Danville, with burial to follow at Danville National Cemetery with her beloved Jack. Current CDC and IDPH guidelines will be strictly enforced regarding social distancing, masks, and allowable numbers.
