Jose Cruz Pacheco

Jose Cruz Pacheco(35), born to Rodrigo Pacheco, Sr. & Theresa A. Pacheco on May 3, 1985, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2021.  His life will be forever cherished by his surviving children: Dominique C. Pacheco 15 y.o.(mother: Patricia Creamer), Izabella 10 y.o. & Sophia 5 y.o. Pacheco (mother: Brittany Dicken).  Jose is also survived by:  his parents Rodrigo Pacheco, Sr. and Theresa A. Pacheco; his siblings: Amy(Geno) Serrano, Lilia(Brett) Pacheco, Rodrigo(Kevin) M. Horn-Pacheco, Jr., Lorena(Ryan) Pacheco, Rosa(Jill) Pacheco, and his fiancé Tabitha Foote.  Surviving nieces and nephews include Alazai, Alicia, Amalia, Antonio, Austin, Hilaria, Isabela, Jacob, Marcelo, Quenton and Tessa; and long time family friend John Gerling.  Jose was preceded in death by his grandparents Coy & Joyce Ramey and Jose Concepción & Soledad Pacheco.      

Jose was a native of Danville, Illinois where he lived for the majority of his life.  He was a free spirit that filled his life with several different adventures.  He viewed life with his eyes wide open and a childlike demeanor.  Nothing was ever out of reach to him.  He deeply loved his family and friends and there is nothing he wouldn’t do to make them happy.  His loving heart and charismatic personality will be missed forever.    

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 – 1:00pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville.  Graveside service will be at 1:30pm at Atherton Cemetery on Perrysville Road in Danville.  IDPH Guidelines will be strictly followed regarding gathering limitations, masks, and social distancing.
