Lois Ellis

Lois Ellis, 83, of Danville, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.  Graveside Services will be at 10:00am on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Oakhill Cemetery on Shangri La Road west of Danville.

Lois was born November 16, 1936 in Homer to Grant and Trevia (Spencer) Ollis Sr.  She graduated Salutatorian of Catlin High School.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time walking outside.  She loved reading books, and her Bible, and caring for her two cats.

Lois married Stephen Ellis on May 6, 1956, he preceded her on September 24, 2011.  Survivors include children:  Joy Barber (John Truett), and Dustin (Carolyn) Ellis; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Ruby Scott and Shirley Roots.  She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse Stephen; son Douglas Ellis; Brother Grant Ollis Jr..
