Lois Dittmar Taylor, 94, of Danville, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, February 27 at Embury Cemetery, north of Muncie near the intersection of N 500 East, 2300 North road.
Lois was born October 30, 1926 in Clarence, Illinois to Robert and Mable (Fredrickson) Knoll. She attended Utterback Business College. She worked for the Veterans Administration for 28 ½ years in New York, Washington DC, and Danville. She also worked at Depke’s and the Farm Bureau. She loved photography, going to classes in Chicago and Indianapolis. She also enjoyed canvass painting. She had attended off and on Hope Church on Rt 49, from the time she was 13 years old.
She had 2 previous marriages, who have already passed. She married Jack Taylor November 21, 1990, he survives. She had one daughter, Chrystal Overby, who passed in 2013. Also preceding Lois are her parents, and brothers Edwin and Bob
