Marian Palmer Obituary

Marian Sue Palmer, 70, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital in Danville. Per her wishes, she will be cremated with no public services planned at this time.

Marian was born February 5, 1950 in Danville to Raymond and Minnie (Griskell) Weaver. She worked as a RN at the Danville VA for 20 years. She loved fishing, horses, and crocheting. She loved baking, Christmas Shopping, and spending time with her family.

Marian married Samuel Palmer Jr. on October 28, 1974, he survives. Also surviving are her children: Brondon Palmer, Karie Palmer, Jackie Hicks, Samie Drown; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ralph Weaver, and sister Julie Jackson.
