Marjorie Jean (Roberts) Rothwell

  Marjorie Jean Rothwell, 99. of Danville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Per her wishes there will be services at Kruger Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 29th, 10:00 AM. She will be entombed at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, with her husband at a later time.

   Marjorie was born on February 23, 1923, in Toledo, Ohio to Paul and LaVerne (Ogden) Roberts Sr. She graduated from DHS in the early forties and worked in bookkeeping for Second National Bank, St. Elizabeth Hospital and Buick Pontiac, all in Danville. Marjorie was a seventy plus year member of Central Christian Church, and enjoyed knitting, reading, playing cards, and following social media on her computer.

   Marjorie married Mathias Rothwell on March 10, 1946; he preceded her in death in 1968 after twenty-two years of marriage. She leaves behind her children: Chris Wells, Terry (Sue) Rothwell, Suzie (John) McNeil, and Vicki Marsh; as well as six (6) grandchildren; ten (10) great and great-great grandchildren. Marjorie was blessed with many friends throughout the years, and a void will be left behind.
