Mary Katherine Hassler

Mary Katherine Hassler, 81 of Kenosha, Wisconsin and formerly of Danville, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Hospice Alliance Hospice House. Visitation will be on November 17th from 10-11am CST at Kruger Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville, with funeral services beginning at 11am and Tim Van Ryn officiating. A memorial service will also be held on Sunday, November 20th at 12:30pm at Grace Bible Chapel, 3917 59th Street in Kenosha, WI. 53144, with a lunch immediately following at the same location.

   Mary was born on July 29, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to George and Emma (Hanbuerger) Hassler. She attended Westville schools graduating in 1959 from Westville High School. She was the Office Manager at Grace and Truth Publishing Company for many years. Mary attended Hillery Bible Chapel where she played piano, taught Sunday School, and organized singing ministries at local nursing homes.  She had a servant’s heart serving at many Bible Camps throughout the years as well.

   Mary leaves behind her brother: George (Brenda) Hassler; sister-in-law: Pauline Hassler; nephews: Gary Hassler, Ted Glaeser, Greg (Julia) Hassler, Brian (Natasha) Glaeser, Andy (Sarah) Hassler, and Chad (Rachel) Hassler, and her nieces: Ingrid (Jeff) Bergmann and Alice (Don) Habel. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings: Regina Osborn, Elizabeth (Kurt) Glaeser, Karl Hassler, and Phillip Hassler.
