Nancy Jane Combest, 80 of Danville, went Home to be with The Lord on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Goldwater Care in Danville. Per her wishes there will be no services.

Nancy was born in Danville on July 18, 1943 to Jack and norma (McCoy) Estes Sr. She attended Danville schools, graduating from Danville High School and attending Beauty School. She opened her own salon-Nancy’s Beauty Shop- right out of school, and operated it for over forty years. Nancy truly loved her clients and thought of them as family. When not working Nancy could be found playing cards, gardening, and making trips to the various casinos.

Nancy married John Combest on February 26, 1960 and the two shared just over fifty-three years together before his passing in March of 2013. Nancy leaves behind her brother: Jack Estes Jr, and her three grandchildren: Sarah Gary, Ryan English, and Nick Covington. Her eight great grandbabies will also miss her greatly. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and her daughter Susan English.
