Ruth Cook

Ruth “Joann” Cook, 85, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at her brothers home in Williamsport, Indiana.  She was born December 21, 1935 in Stringtown, Indiana to Ralph and Lucille Davis Ping.  She married Virgil “Bill” Cook in 1947 in Danville, Illinois where they made their home.

She is survived by one brother: Darrel (Liz) Ping with whom she made her home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her siblings: Lula Bell, Willard “Muggs”, Orville Dean, Walter “Dick”, Luther “John”, Carolyn “Little Woman”, Marilyn “Jane”, and Pootes who died in infancy, and her little dog Mazi.

She enjoyed reading and being outdoors.  Private burial will be at Coal Creek Cemetery near Stringtown, Indiana.
