Sounya Ann Jones

Sounya Ann Jones, 51, of Danville, formerly of Englewood, FL, passed away on July 18, 2019 at OSF Healthcare in Danville.

She was born June 22, 1968, in Danville, to Kathleen A Qualey and Jack H Jones Sr. He preceded her in death. She moved to Lakeworth, FL in 1991 and then on to the Nokomis/Englewood, FL area where she was the manager/employee of Burger King in Englewood until roughly 2001, when she met and fell in love with Joe Coleman, owner and operator of J.J. Teez. They worked together in the business until his passing in 2005, at which time she returned home to Danville to care for her mother, Kathy.

Sounya was a friend and sister to many. With a generous, caring soul, she would do anything for her family & friends. She always had a smile on her face and was always happy to see you. She will be dearly missed by those she touched and also by Kathleen A Qualey, Mother; Jack H Jones Jr, Brother; 2 Sisters, Autumn A Duprey (Qualey) & Spring N Wimsett. Nephews; Dakota Oaks, Kavan Oaks, William Wimsett, Anthony Wimsett, & Joshua Duprey Jr; Neices:  Keirra Duprey & Alissa Wimsett; Special Aunt Diane (Michael) Curry, Barb (Mike) Schull; and loads of cousins & friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Jack H Jones Sr; Maternal Grandfather & Grandmother, Clifford & Hilda Qualey; and Uncle & Aunt Clark & Patricia Qualey.

A Memorial Visitation will be at Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home, 10 E.
