William Paul Krage Sr.

   William Paul Krage Sr. passed away on August 5, 2019.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am on Monday August 12, 2019 at the VA Illiana Chapel, 1900 E. Main Street, Danville, IL.  Service will follow at 11:00am at the VA Illiana Chapel, with burial to follow at Danville National Cemetery.

  William was born April 4, 1956 in Danville.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Addie and Leroy Krage; his brother Victor Krage; and his grandson Zayden Krage.  He is survived by three brothers: Richard Krage, Robert (Sandy) Krage, and Kenneth (Diane) Krage; his four children: Tabatha (James) Hammer, Sabrina (Cory Grant) Krage, Paula (Terrance Forman) Krage, and William (Tasha Stephenson) Krage Jr.; and 10 grandchildren including Kirsten and Caleb Hammer; Rylan Dayton, Tegyn and Brasken Grant; Terrance Jr., Taisley and Kingsley Forman; and Carter Krage.  He also has many nieces and nephews, too many to list that were close to him.

Bill, as he preferred to be called, enjoyed having a drink with friends and family.  Bill worked at Dines Machine for many years.  He loved listening to Rock and Roll music.  He enjoyed mushrooming every year when the weather warmed up.  He had also just began scrapping with his brother Rich.  But most important to Bill was spending time with his grandchildren.  He had a special bond with his youngest grandson, whom he called Lee.  Bill may have been a gruff old man to some people, but he supported and loved his family.  He will be missed.
