Wilma West Obituary

Wilma Irene West, 82, of Danville, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Pleasant Meadows in Chrisman. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.

Wilma was born March 27, 1938 in Danville to Virgle and Clara (Kester) Goble. Wilma was a house wife and her true enjoyment came from taking care of her husband and her home. She enjoyed bingo, music, attending bluegrass festivals, and car shows.

Wilma married Russel West on December 16, 1955, be passed in November 2009. Survivors include daughter: Connie (Steve) Dodson, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son William Dean West, and daughter Cathie Irene Miller.
